Prawns in Coconut milk


Recipe Ingredients:
500 gm raw prawns
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
4 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tbsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp red chilli powder
250 ml coconut milk
salt (according to taste)

How to Prepare:
Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan over medium-high heat. When hot, add onions, cook stirring frequently, for 5-6 minutes, untill the onions are soft but not brown. Add ginger garlic paste and chillies and cook, stirring frequently untill the onions are light golden brown in colour.
Add turmeric and chilli powder and prawns and cook stirring occasionally, for 3 - 4 minutes. Add salt and coconut milk and cook for 25-30 minutes or untill most of the coconut milk is absorbed by the prawns. Turn off the heat and remove from heat. Serve Immediately.

Serving Suggestions:
Serve with rice.
