Pepper Rice


Recipe Ingredients:
225 gm basmati rice
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped yellow pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped red pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp oil
1/4 tbs red chilli powder
salt (according to taste)

How to prepare:
Wash the rice in several changes of cold water untill the water runs clear. Leave to soak in fresh cold water for 20 min, then drain the water. Cook rice by adding 300 ml water for 20-30 minutes.
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan, add onions and cook untill transparent, now add ginger garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, soy sauce and vinegar, mix well and cook for 5-10 minutes.
Add chopped red peppers, green peppers and yellow peppers, stir well. Close the lid and let it cook for 10 minutes. Now add cooked rice and mix well. Serve hot.
