Chicken in Coconut Milk & Tomato

Recipe Ingredients:
1 kg boneless chicken
5 tblsp oil
2 medium onions, diced
2 tblsp ginger garlic paste
3 small red/green chillies, finely sliced
1 tblsp red chilli powder
2 tblsp chicken masala powder
1 tblsp ground coriander
1/2 tblsp cumin seeds
1/2 tblsp paprika
1/2 tblsp turmeric
1/2 tbsp cardamom pods
Salt (According to taste)
400 gm tomatoes,diced
270 ml can coconut milk

How to Prepare:
Heat oil over a medium heat then add chicken. Cook untill chicken pieces turn light golden brown colour. Now remove the chicken pieces and place them on paper napkins so that the excess oil will be observed.
Now add onions, chillies, salt and ginger garlic paste. Cook for approx 8-10min or untill the onions are soft.
Add turmeric, coriander paste, cumin, paprika and chicken masala powder, red chilli powder and cook for a further 5minutes.
Add tomatoes stir trough and cook for 10-15minutes or cook untill tomatoes become tender(add little water if sticking to the  bottom of the pan).
Add chicken pieces and coconut milk then simmer on a low heat for 25-30minutes.
Garnish with fresh yogurt/curd and fresh coriander. Serve hot

Serving Suggestions:
 Serve with rice or chapati
