Peri-Peri Chicken Strips

Recipe Ingredients:
500 gm boneless chicken
1/2 cup nando's peri-peri sauce
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp pepper powder
green salad (to serve)

How to Prepare:
In a non metallic bowl add chicken, nando's peri-peri sauce, 2 tbsp olive oil and pepper powder, mix well. Cover and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
Heat a large saucepan of water. Transfer the marinated chicken into a food saver bag, then seal the bag. Place bags in saucepan of boiling water ensuring that the bag is fully immersed in the water bath. Cook chicken for 30 minutes or untill cooked thorough. Remove from water bath and set a side for 5 minutes.
In a medium saucepan heat remaining olive oil and shallow fry the cooked chicken strips by brushing generously with the peri-peri sauce. Serve hot along with green salad and extra peri-peri sauce.
