Dry Apricot Dessert


Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup dry apricots
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups water

How to Prepare:
Soak apricots in a large bowl of water for overnight. Using a sharp knife, chop the apricots into small pieces. In a heavy-base saucepan add chopped apricots and water and bring to boil, keep stirring in-between. Add sugar and cook for 20 minutes or untill it thickens.
Remove the saucepan from heat and allow to cool for sometime at room temperature. Transfer the dessert into a bowl and allow to chill for 2-3 hours. Serve chilled.

Serving Suggestions:
Serve with vanilla ice cream or custard or fresh whipped cream.
